It’s a new year. I already went through my beauty products and got rid of ones I wasn’t using or ones that needed to go! The new year reminds me it is time for fresh beauty! It’s time to go through your beauty products and get rid of the ones you no longer need!
There is always time for pampering, wellness, and mental health in our household. As a busy single mom, I do my best to take time for myself. I also like to be aware of our beauty needs. I bought my son and myself some body wash and gentle scrub. My son has suffered from acne on his back, upper arms, and chest. I found body wash and body scrub to use to help with scarring and combat his acne. I also found a body scrub for myself, as a way to pamper my skin!

Fresh Hair
We have hard water, which affects our skin and hair! To help keep our hair healthy, I like to focus on scalp health!
It’s time for fresh hair by starting with your scalp! The Camellia Sinensis Tea Leaf Probiotic Sea Salt Scalp Scrub is a thick but gentle product for your scalp! There weren’t any directions on how to apply the product, so it would be easier to wet hair in the shower and then apply to your scalp! I let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse!
I then follow up with the Scalp Purifying & Anti-aging Serum. I apply on my scalp and then rinse.
After using both the scalp scrub and serum, it really softens my hair and my scalp no longer feels itchy and dry!
I was really excited to try the Mayraki Gray Coverage Permanent Hair Color Dye Shampoo! I chose Bright Plum because it is so pretty and I love purple! I also wanted to try this product because it is easy to use, with one step application! I only have a handful of grey hairs, but that is still too many!
The Mayraki Gray Coverage Permanent Hair Color Dye Shampoo is easy to use. The first time I used it, I applied it on dry hair. I applied all over and let it sit for about 20 minutes and then rinsed in the shower. After one use, my hair was so soft! I am impressed with the colors and ease of use. I found it is easier to apply for damp hair as the product applies easier!

Fresh Body
I have always wanted to make my own soap! However, the entire process seems overwhelming and the idea of having to purchase all the equipment seems confusing. Instead, I love supporting small businesses, such as Magnolia Soap & Bath Company!
They sent me three of their soaps, including Cactus Bloom, Lady Luck, and Come Clean! The bars are huge and they smell so good. They sat at my workspace for a few weeks and I would just get a whiff of them throughout the day!
I cannot help but admire not only the scent but the beautiful colors, swirls, and designs of the soaps! Each bar of soap is a masterpiece in itself!
Fresh Laundry
I prefer to use natural laundry soap as my son has sensitive skin and both he and myself suffer from dry skin! Since our clothing, blankets, and towels touch our skin, I like using natural products to clean our laundry! Magnolia Soap & Bath Company sent us a huge container of their laundry wash in Magnolia!
I usually add a laundry sanitizer and odor eliminator to our washes as my son is a young adult and we have two dogs! Can you imagine the stink in our laundry? It is smelly! However, when I use the laundry wash from Magnolia Soap & Bath Company, I forego the laundry sanitizer and odor eliminator products!

I saw another brand offer a lip scrub set, so when I saw the Kiss & Tell Lip Care Trio, I knew I wanted to try it.
My son has dry lips. I have to remind him to apply lip balm. His poor lips were looking so dry! I was so excited to try this beautiful lip pampering set!
